The Writers Guild Foundation Shavelson-Webb Library is available to rent as a convenient, central location for your event or conference or as a unique setting for your film, TV, or commercial production. Events, Meetings, Conferences
The library is available to rent weeknights after 6pm, except Thursday, and weekends as a cozy and comfortable space for events, meetings, and small conferences. The main room can accomodate seating for approximately 60-75 comfortably. A small kitchen and additional conference room (seating 12 comfortably) are available for use as well, and parking is usually available under the building for over 100 cars.
A Location for Film, TV, or Commercial Shoots
The library can provide a unique, modern interior setting for your film, TV, or commercial shoot. Pricing depends on the size and length of the production, and whether the library would need to be closed to accomodate it.
Recording, Screening
The small conference room attached to the library is set up with two large plasma screen TVs with DVD/VHS, videoconferencing, and links for your laptop for dynamic powerpoint, online, or A/V presentations. Soundproofing makes this conference room an ideal space for recording or filming interviews and for small screenings. This space can be reserved by WGA members for 1 hour blocks weekdays from 10-5, as available. It can be rented with the library according to the above restrictions, or by itself at any time.
