As a child, Nicole was an extra in Woody Allen movies like SLEEPER and TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN. Later, at Columbia University, she made a short film that went on to gain critical praise at the Sundance Film Festival.

Most recently, she directed James Gandolfini in one of the last performances of his life.
