Does your script have an amazing concept? Brilliant set pieces? Witty dialogue with plenty of memorable lines? Does it have poetic scene descriptions, and is it the perfect length?

Does it have great characters, too? Characters with well-defined goals and desires, who move the plot forward with choices that seem logical and organic to their development? Because baby, if you don’t got good characters, you don’t got a good script.
