As the creator of MY SO-CALLED LIFE, writer Winnie Holzman introduced us to the angst-filled world of Angela Chase (Claire Danes) and set the bar on poignant teen dramas. She wrote on the highly acclaimed dramas THIRTYSOMETHING and ONCE AND AGAIN – and wrote the book for a little Broadway musical called WICKED.

In this Master Class, we get a glimpse into Winnie’s process of writing such beloved stories and characters, who continue to captivate audiences and influence new productions on stage and screen.

The discussion will be moderated by writer, developer and producer Jason Katims (PARENTHOOD, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS). Jason and Winnie were colleagues on MY SO-CALLED LIFE, so you can bet that Winnie will have a few questions for Jason about his craft and career, too!

PLUS we’ll also have an EXCLUSIVE Green Room Experience beginning at 6:30pm, where ticket holders can meet and chat with Winnie before the event. Green Room Experience ticket holders will also get a front row seat at the event, a signed script, and a coupon for a freegeneral admission ticket to a future Master Class. Only six of these Green Room Experience tickets are available.
