Since its pilot premiered on The CW, we’ve been charmed by JANE THE VIRGIN’s original, smart, meta take on the telenovela. Along with its cast of loveable and emotionally complex characters, the one-hour comedy’s soap opera-style twists-and-turns, clever use of a narrator, and cheeky on-screen text and graphics give each episode–or chapters as the show refers to them–the feel of a magical, interactive and emotional ride.
At this special event, JANE THE VIRGIN creator and showrunner Jennie Snyder Urmanshares insight into the process of designing that ride for the past two seasons. She’ll be joined by her fellow writers and members of her incredible cast, who’ll give the actor’s perspective on bringing the characters and dialogue to life.
