Dark, gory, and based on the popular comic book by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, PREACHER is the latest AMC show you’ll probably find yourself obsessing about (and judging from other AMC shows that are dark, gory and based on comic books, it’ll do juuuust fine).
Developed for TV by Sam Catlin, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen, the series, which premieres May 22, is about a small-town Texas preacher with mysterious powers who enlists his ex-girlfriend and an Irish vampire to help him literally find God. Yup, we’re IN!
On this special evening, we are screening the premiere episode of PREACHER which will be followed by a panel that will discuss how to adapt comic books, writing the anti-hero, and what’s in store for the first season.
The panel will feature executive producer, showrunner, and BREAKING BAD alumnus Sam Catlin and the show’s writers and producers, Sara Goodman, Craig Rosenberg, Nick Towne, Mary Laws, and Eric Default.
Eric Goldman from IGN will be moderating.
Doors open at 7pm. Event starts at 7:30pm.
