The Writers Guild Foundation and The Riveter returns with our second Writers Guild pitch series featuring film and TV writers, producers, and entertainment executives that focus on all the elements of pitching, from crafting your personal story and shaping your film or TV pitch to working the room at a networking event or meeting.

All pitch series will begin at 6:30pm at The Riveter in Marina del Rey and will be led by industry experts.

November 19, 2019 - Writers and Representatives

• Hear from writers and representatives on what makes a successful pitch and how writers and reps work together on crafting pitches. Attendees will then prepare pitches on their personal projects. Speakers Include:

November 22, 2019 - Producers and Executives

• Gather insights on pitching and development from producers and creative executives across film, TV and digital. Speakers Include:

  • Rashonda Joplin, MGM Television
