WGF x SCAD AnimationFest: Writing for Animated Series

Whether adapting a comic into a show, extending a franchise with a new installment, or creating entirely new characters and worlds, animated series writers require a unique blend of skills to hold their own inside the writers' room. WGF is pleased to collaborate with the Savannah College of Art and Design’s SCADFILM for a discussion with writers from your favorite animated series.

Panelists:

  • Kelly Galuska (Big Mouth, BoJack Horseman, Archer)

  • Charles Murray (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels)

  • Nora Smith (Central Park, Bob’s Burgers)

Moderated by WGF librarian Lauren O’Connor and SCAD professor of animation and dramatic writing Eric Shaw.

This virtual event is hosted by SCAD and ticketing is handled through SCAD. For any questions regarding this event, email animationfest@scad.edu.
