Inside the Writers Room with AS WE SEE IT

Inside the Writers Room/Zoom is our ongoing event series where we gather the writers room of a TV series to learn how their room runs, from how they plan each season and break story to their individual experiences cracking episodes.

For this session, we hear from the writers of new Amazon Prime Video series As We See It. The series follows three 20-something roommates on the autism spectrum as they strive to get a job, keep a job, make friends, fall in love, and navigate a world that eludes them. Creator and executive producer Jason Katims (Parenthood, Friday Night Lights) moderates the conversation with the writers room. Learn how they crafted the first season and their process for developing authentic characters and storylines.

Panelists:

  • Jason Katims - Creator and Executive Producer

  • Ian Deitchman & Kristin Robinson - Co-Executive Producers

  • Denise Hahn - Co-Executive Producer

  • Romi Barta - Executive Story Editor

  • Michelle Sam - Staff Writer

  • Jesikah Suggs - Staff Writer

Panel starts at 4:00pm Pacific time.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us at events@wgfoundation.org.

For anyone who was unable to RSVP for the panel, we will record and post it at a later date.
