The Writers Guild Foundation, Script Anatomy and Winnie Holzman Present WRITERS TIME

These past few years have been a LOT. The politics. The pandemic. Now… the strike. No surprise if you’re feeling– a bit scrambled? Maybe even creatively stuck?

You need some Writers Time.

Writers Time is an hour long Zoom to help writers like you stay inspired and motivated through this madness. In the first half hour we’ll write silently “alone together” on our respective projects– (and if you need something to get you started, there’ll be writing prompts too.) Then, in the second half hour, we’ll host a craft Q&A with Special Guest Writers.

On August 30, we welcome seasoned TV writer and showrunner Jason Katims (Dear Edward, Parenthood, Friday Night Lights) to the Zoom room.

And it’s free!

(Though we’ll happily accept donations, all of which will go directly to the WGF’s programs HERE – the Entertainment Community Fund, Groceries for Writers, and other strike support places.)

So set aside one hour in the evening, every couple of weeks– to write, and watch your fellow writers writing. It’ll be motivating… and fun! Writers need each other. Especially now.

We can’t wait to see you!
