About the Panelists
Joe Port has been writing and producing television for over twenty years alongside his writing partner Joe Wiseman. Port has produced many original television pilots and worked on notable series such as “The Office,” “New Girl,” and “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.” Most recently he and Wiseman adapted the CBS comedy GHOSTS, which is in its fourth season and delivers nearly 11 million multiplatform viewers with streaming alone up 9% year over year. Additionally, they're developing another supernatural comedy, this one about vampires and titled Eternally Yours, for CBS.
Port, a native of Altoona, Pa., is a 1997 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a political cartoonist and drew a pretty good Ross Perot. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, and two sons.
Denver native Joe Wiseman has been writing for television with his writing partner, Joe Port, for over twenty years. Among the many notable series they have written for are “The Office,” “New Girl,” and “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.” Most recently he and Port adapted the CBS comedy GHOSTS, which is in its fourth season and delivers nearly 11 million multiplatform viewers with streaming alone up 9% year over year. Additionally, they're developing another supernatural comedy, this one about vampires and titled Eternally Yours, for CBS.
Aside from his family, Wiseman considers his greatest achievement as having been a former Twin Galaxies-recognized world record holder in “Tecmo Super Bowl” on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Though the college he graduated from, The College of Santa Fe, went out of business a few years ago, Wiseman is pretty sure he’s still technically a college graduate.
