The Veterans Writing Project is excited to welcome screenwriter and novelist Jessica Bendinger to share her tools for the writing process and how to apply these principles to your work.

Jessica Bendinger's films have grossed over $500 million worldwide, spawning a myriad of sequels, TV shows and Jeopardy questions. In her 20-year career as a sought-after industry creative and consultant, she has worked with everyone from Sundance to Google. She has taught screenwriting at UCLA and served as an industry mentor for Sundance Institute, The Blacklist, American Film Institute, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Writers Guild of America, NY Women in Film, Austin Film Festival, and YouTube Business Bootcamp to name a few. She is a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the DGA, the WGA, SACD (France), and ASCAP.

Jessica will be discussing points covered in her new book The Bring It On Book: Screenplay / How-To + Never-Before-Seen Scenes, Together Forever for the Very First Time. If you would like to read the book in advance, I have linked portals to purchase below. You are not required to read this book to attend the discussion.
