Talent Portal
The Writers Guild Foundation’s Talent Portal is a private online platform that showcases ready-to-hire alumni from our career development initiatives – the Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program and Veterans Fellowship.
Whether you're looking to hire support staff, bring on a staff writer, browse for potential clients, or simply explore the work of our talented alumni, we’re here to support your search.
How to Get Started
First, select a program below and click “View Profiles.” Then, if prompted, enter the password SUPPORT.
You'll then have access to alumni profiles for that program, where you can browse the list of available graduates, filter by preferred genre, and click on individual names to view their bios, resumes, and writing samples.

Veterans Fellowship
The Veterans Fellowship is an 8-week professional development program for U.S. military veterans on the cusp of breaking in as TV writers. Graduates exit the program with multiple polished samples, a refined self-pitch, experience in simulated writers’ rooms, a nuanced understanding of support roles and writers’ room etiquette, and more – all with the support of a dedicated showrunner-mentor.
Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program
Graduates of the Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program are uniquely qualified to take on roles as Writers’ Assistants or Script Coordinators. Backed by the support of some of television’s most prolific creators, our intensive 12-week course provides students with hands-on experience and industry insight equivalent to a full season in a professional writers' room.
