WRITERS’ ACCESS SUPPORT STAFF TRAINING PROGRAM
The Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program is a first-of-its-kind initiative that provides writers from underrepresented backgrounds with with the tools and education to become a writers’ assistant and script coordinator, resulting in meaningful employment opportunities.

The Veterans Fellowship is a newly established program that provides educational resources, professional guidance, and career-building opportunities for Veterans Writing Project alumni who are on the threshold of breaking in as professional TV writers.

Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program
Graduates of The Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program receive intensive training equivalent to one year of experience working as support staff in a writers’ room.
With an average admission rate under 1%, the Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program is the most competitive initiative of its kind. Among thousands of applicants, each participant rose to the top.

Upon graduation, Veterans Fellowship graduates are equipped with multiple polished samples, a refined self-pitch, hands-on experience in simulated writers’ rooms, a nuanced understanding of support roles and writers’ room etiquette, and more.
