Structure is vital to your screenplay. Think about every movie you’ve ever loved. Now remove the structure, and see what happens: Rick Deckard bumbles around for sixty pages before meeting a replicant, or you find out who Keyser Soze is during the first five minutes, or Woody and Buzz don’t even meet until the last quarter of Act Two. If there even is an Act Two. You get the idea.
Panelists include Lem Dobbs (HAYWIRE), Stephen Gaghan (TRAFFIC) and David Seidler (THE KING’S SPEECH).
Dan Petrie, Jr. (BEVERLY HILLS COP) will moderate the discussion.
