Anatomy of a Script: Michael Bacall and 21 Jump Street

Rolling Stone critic Peter Travers called 21 JUMP STREET a “bracing new take” on the classic 80s television series, adding that it has a “playful spark all its own.” Richard Brody of The New Yorker said “the script rings brightly with sassy and salacious lines and sharp-edged characters.”

Michael Bacall, who wrote the film’s script with Jonah Hill (who also stars), is on hand to talk about the script from the initial idea to the final draft.
