Anatomy of a Script: Ben Lewin and The Sessions

A breakout hit of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, THE SESSIONS took the Audience Award and went on to become a critical favorite. Tom Charity of CNN.com called it “a very different kind of love story, breaking taboos lightly, with sensitivity and humor,” and Philip French of The Guardian calls it “honest about desire and love and the need for sex.”

In this video, Writer/Director Ben Lewin talks about writing the script, which he adapted from an essay by Mark O’Brien.
